The right approach to driving for you
Everyone is different and it’s important that, when you’re tackling something as important as learning to drive a car, you are a comfortable as possible. You’ll find our approach is to work out what will suit you best and then put together a learning programme that suits you and your needs.
- Lessons can be scheduled as frequently as you wish.
- You can have just an hour or a longer session of 90 minutes or two hours, if you prefer.
- You can choose daytime, weekend or evening lessons.
The first step is a chat to find out what your aspirations are and then we’ll plan your programme together.
You will have a dedicated 1-2-1 session at each lesson – no shared lessons or picking up and dropping off other students.
We have a ‘no mobiles’ rule – that applies to both you and the instructor, so your lesson won’t be interrupted by phone calls.
You can be sure that you’re getting a high level of teaching too. There are a number of driving instructor qualifications – the Association of Driving Instructors in the most advanced you can get. All AA approved instructors must have the ADI qualification – and Russell has taken it one level further – he’s a driving instructor trainer too. That means he trains driving instructors as well as learner drivers.
The a2om BTEC course in Driving Science is the world’s first academic qualification in driver training and Russell is one of the few driving instructors qualified to deliver this. This will be part of your normal driving lessons and will ensure your safety awareness is really good, making you a better and safer driver.
In fact, to keep his skills up to date and ensure learners get the best possible instruction, Russell is currently studying for his Advanced Diploma in Driving Instruction.
